JAMESTOWN - WCA Hospital will unveil a three-dimensional sheet steel wall hanging as part of the grand opening of its new Emergency Department on Sunday.

The community is invited to meet artist William Disbro and view the art during activities from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

The art, titled "Community Connections," has 11 distinct community elements, including the governor's chair manufactured by Jamestown Royal, the carousel at Midway State Park, Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson and the Chautauqua Institution bell tower.

Hospital and community leaders will dedicate the new department just outside the Emergency Department entrance on Sherman Street and Prather Avenue.

There will be a teddy bear clinic, an open house, self-guided walking tours and question-and-answer sessions with physicians and staff, who will guide guests through the 18,000-square-foot center.
