Two men ended up in Erie County Medical Center after they were shot early Sunday while walking on Holden Street near Victoria Avenue, Buffalo Police said.
The two, whose names and conditions were not released by authorities, are the victims of an apparent drive-by shooting at about 3:45 a.m., police said.
The shootings come on the heels of another East Side shooting of two pedestrians about 12:30 p.m. Saturday on Bailey Avenue in the city's Kensington neighborhood.
Mark Vanoy Jr., no age or address available, was struck in his right leg, and Corey Bell, no age or address available, was shot in his left foot, according to police. Both were taken to ECMC for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The two were walking on Bailey between Phyllis and Millicent avenues when the gunman opened fire, police said.
