NIAGARA FALLS - Tools valued at more than $1,000 were stolen during the burglary of a Willow Avenue garage - one of two similar break-ins investigated over the weekend, police said.
A woman returned home Wednesday evening to find that her garage door had been forced open and the tools gone, police said. Damage was estimated at $300.
Meanwhile, a 20th Street garage was broken into between 9 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, and three bicycles valued at $380 were stolen, police said. A padlock was forced open, police added.
