NIAGARA FALLS - Niagara Falls police are investigating recent burglaries that targeted two businesses.
In one case, a side door was pried open at Island Style Restaurant, West Market Street, and a video game machine, stainless-steel sink, coffee maker and beverages were stolen, police said. The loss from the break-in, which occurred after 6:30 p.m. Friday, was estimated at $660.
Between 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, a door to the Border Inn, Niagara Falls Boulevard, was forced open and $50 stolen from a cash drawer in the motel lobby, police said.
