A Cheektowaga man was charged Saturday with aggravated drunken driving after state police were called to investigate a report of a patrons being harassed at a Walmart on Transit Road in Clarence.
Troopers who arrested Douglas A. Rhea, 48, said he failed several roadside sobiety tests and posted a blood-alcohol level of 0.25 percent - more than three times the legal limit.
Rhea told troopers he drove to the Walmart to get money from his wife for dinner.
Later Saturday, troopers stopped a car on Crittenden Road in Newstead and charged James A. Marino, 49, of Clarence with aggravated DWI. Marino's blood-alcohol level measured 0.18 percent, more than double the legal limit, said troopers.
