NIAGARA FALLS - A thief's blood apparently was left on the passenger-side window that was smashed during in a vehicle break-in Wednesday in the 2900 block of Seneca Avenue, according to city police.
The 72-year-old owner said his 2012 Chevy Equinox was parked in his driveway between midnight and 1 p.m. Wednesday. He said he found the window had been smashed and a GPS was stolen from inside the vehicle.
Police found a dark red substance which appeared to be blood on the window. The owner told police that the blood did not belong to him or his wife.
