A man was charged with assault today at the downtown bus terminal when Buffalo Police said he repeatedly punched a man who refused to give him a cigarette.
Gary M. Seifert, 32, no address listed, was arrested by Police Officers Adam M. Brodsky and John Yuhnke at Washington and Huron Street shortly after the 1:30 a.m. incident and charged with second-degree assault.
According to a police report, Seifert argued with a much older man at the bus terminal about a cigarette and he allegedly punched the man in the face, forehead and back and side of his head before leaving. The victim was treated at the station and released.
