A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1424 Maple Road, Amherst, for Lee J. "Ziggy" Zigmant, a retired home health aide, who died Aug. 16 after a long illness.
The Town of Tonawanda resident was 75.
Born Lee J. Liddell in Buffalo, she graduated from Lafayette High School and attended the University of Buffalo.
From 1985 until 2008, she worked as a home health aide for Interim Health.
Mrs. Zigmant also was a home health aide at Weinberg Campus in Getzville from 1991 to 2008.
In addition, she owned Ziggy's Superior Cleaning Service from 1981 to 2008, when she retired.
Mrs. Zigmant taught sewing classes at home and was a tailor for local clothing manufacturing plants.
She also made drapes for the Sappio Home Decor Business.
She received the Western New York Employee of the Year award in 2002 while at the Weinberg Campus.
Her husband, John G., whom she married in 1971, died in 1997.
She is survived by five sons, Jason, Paul, Douglas, Jonathan and Kristopher; three daughters, Linda, Lisa and Robin; and two sisters, Carol Hull and Diane Malecki.
