A Gerhardt Street woman is accused of fatally stabbing her longtime boyfriend during an argument in her flat Sunday night.
Darleen Benson, also known as Darlene B. Seay, 54, was ordered held without bail following Buffalo City Court arraignment Monday on a charge of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of Ronald Wilson, 59, about 9:15 p.m.
Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives, said the two had been drinking and using drugs.
Firefighters and Ferry-Fillmore police went to the Gerhardt flat and Wilson was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival.
Benson is being held in the Erie County Holding Center pending further court proceedings.
