A Cheektowaga man suspected of committing at least two bank robberies in Buffalo last spring was arrested Friday after a lengthy search by police.
Gabriel Mills, 51, who was picked up by officers from the Northwest and Central Districts, is accused of committing two holdups: the Key Bank branch at Fountain Plaza on April 25 and the HSBC branch at Lafayette Square on May 14, according to Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives.
Officers from the Northwest District found Mills while investigating a call to a North Buffalo residence, police said.
