LOCKPORT - Niagara County sheriff's deputies said a Buffalo woman who tried to shield her face when she pulled into the Niagara County Jail parking lot this afternoon aroused their suspicions and faces several charges .
Carin P. Cutler, 45, of LaSalle Avenue, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, criminal impersonation, operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Deputies said they questioned Cutler after she tried to cover her face and turn her head away when she pulled into the jail parking lot on Niagara Street just after 12:30 p.m. Deputies said she first gave a false name and then was found to be driving without a license, which had been revoked after a driving while intoxicated conviction. She was also found to have several unpaid traffic fines.
Deputies said they also noticed the odor of marijuana and confiscated 10 marijuana cigarettes from her purse, which Cutler said she had planned to take to a Bob Dylan concert.
Cutler was walked over to the jail and bail was set at $500.
