Buffalo's Labor Day parade gets under way at noon today at the Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road. The parade will head down Abbott Road to Cazenovia Park.
Wearing the sash as the grand marshal is Assemblyman Sean Ryan, D-Buffalo. Other parades in honor of working men and women include:
Clarence Center - The Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Co. Benevolent Association's Labor Day Fair includes a parade beginning at 1 p.m.
Youngstown - A parade from Fort Niagara State Park to Veterans Park kicks off at noon. Rides, games and food vendors will be a part of the final day of the Youngstown Field Days from 1 to 8 p.m.
