The National Buffalo Chicken Wing Festival takes place from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at Coca-Cola Field. Admission is $5 per day; children ages 8 and under are free. Food tickets, purchased at the festival, are $1 each.

In addition to 80,000 pounds of wings cooked by more than 35 local and national restaurants and vendors, there's a variety of other events and entertainment planned. Bring the youngsters to enjoy the all-day Kid Zone on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, music will be performed by Lee Ron Zydeco, Terry Buchwald (Elvis tribute) and Pirate Dreams (Jimmy Buffett tribute). Sunday is country rock day with S.B. Reeves Outfit, Eric Houghton Band and ?90 West. Here is a listing of the food-inspired events:
