Outlook: The Pirates boast the top lineman in the league in senior Dan Lictus (6-3, 270), named first team all-state last year in Class D on the DL. Lictus led the team in tackles with 80 while Tom Heiser was close behind with 76. A pair of solid two-way players will carry the Pirates in the backfield, Tom Heiser and Jake Wiggers. Both were all-league a year ago. Seven return on both sides of the ball.

Outlook: Tackle Will Murphy, end Storm Wilson and WR/LB Jake Renko are this year's captains. DL Dylan Paprocki was named a league all-star last year as a sophomore. Out-of-state transfer Lorenzo Smith brings speed to WR/S. Junior Cam Wilson gets the nod at QB. Among his targets will be Renko and Smith. Sophomore RB Phalla Musall had more than 700 yards last year.

Outlook: RB/LB Jake Nosbisch, WR/CB Adam Pleva and RB/S Nate Maines have been named captains. Senior Cody Jackson returns at G/DE. "Maines had a really good offseason. He's faster and much stronger than he was," said Greenough. The Hornets will start five sophomores: QB Ryan Forbes, TE/S Caleb Makuch, LB/G Mike Priest, T/T Dylan Powers and C/LB Dylan Robinson.

Outlook: Two juniors will play major roles for the Panthers, QB/DB Peter Kopp and RB/LB Jamie Greiner. Kopp was a league all-star along with senior OG Carl Retzel. Other seniors who will be counted on as two-way players are RB/DL Trent Dingman, WR/DB Christian Bigham, OL/DL Dean Cole, RB/LB Eric Michaelis and RB/DE Brandon Dutton.

Outlook: RB Robbie Benson and TE Alec Blose are among five returning starters for the Panthers. Kelvin Eddy joins Benson in the backfield along with FB Stepen Enlow, up from a 7-1 JV squad. They'll run behind a veteran line that includes returnees Devin Ireland, Tanner Propheter, Tony Paterniti and Tyce Schneider. Dustin Smouse moves to guard after a solid year at JV. Sawyer Eggleston and Bryce Payne will battle at QB.

Outlook: The Panthers are thin on experience, with only two starters returning and two seniors. Pine Valley looks to get back on the winning track with returnees G/DT Lucas Trombley and RB/LB/PR Josh Kilburn.
G/DT Jake Wilcox is a 6-3, 300 junior. Pine Valley will count heavily on other returning players from last year's competitive JV team, including QB/LB Dan Weaver, TE/DE Bryce Jay, FB/LB Talon Snyder and WR/CB Mike Isula.

Outlook: The Wildcats will count heavily on returning league all-star Trevor Enterline, a 5-9, 230-pound nose tackle. He had 95 tackles and three forced fumbles a year ago. Another strong lineman is senior Jacob Toy. Two key juniors are QB/DB Andrew Graham and RB/WR Devin Morehead. Seven return on both sides of the ball.
