Marjory C. Greenfield, a retired secretary, died Sunday in Beechwood Health Care Facility following a short illness. She was 88.
Born Marjory Frankenstein in Buffalo, she graduated from Lafayette High School and attended Indiana University.
Mrs. Greenfield was a secretary employed at M. Wile for 13 years, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery for 10 years and Temple Beth Zion for seven. She retired in 2002.
She was a member of Temple Beth Zion and was active in the tai chi community. She also was a Sisterhood board member at Temple Beth Zion and a member of the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
Mrs. Greenfield was a volunteer at the Weinberg Campus and established the Neighborhood Watch Association in her Buffalo neighborhood.
She was a Daughter of the American Revolution member and received an award from the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Zion.
Her husband of 44 years, Samuel, died in 1989.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Shields, and a son, Mark.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today in Temple Beth Zion Sisterhood Chapel, 805 Delaware Ave.
