It's hard to believe, but on Thursday, Matt Nathanson and his band will be helping us all put a cap on the Thursday at the Harbor 2012 season. It's been an amazing summer of shows down at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf and there are more to come with the remaining "Rocks the Harbor" ticketed gigs.

It seems appropriate that a schedule that has brought us everything from 1980's alternative music to ska-punk and power-pop will end with a set from folk-rock singer/songwriter Nathanson, whose reflective, melodic compositions -- the mega-hit "Come On Get Higher" serves as a useful case-in-point -- have endeared themselves to millions.

The final Thursday at the Harbor show also boasts a killer pair of opening acts, in the form of Voices and Canadian electro-pop wunderkind Lights.

Showtime is 5 p.m. Thursday. Admission is free.
