Wines and lagers and beers, oh my!

Feeding time at the Buffalo Zoo will be moved to 6 p.m. on July 25.

That's when participants will start enjoying Wines in the Wild, the zoo's annual benefit for its Adopt an Animal fund.

There will be no shortage of libations, from suppliers like the Buffalo Brew Pub, Flying Bison Brewery, Long Trail Brewing and Johnson Estate Winery. From bite-size entrees to specialty desserts, restaurants like Brodo, Lebro's, Risa's and Pizza Plant will feed the masses.

"It's a good event, and we're glad to participate," said Pizza Plant owner Bob Syracuse, who said his restaurant's gazpacho and bread pudding will be on offer.

Cool desserts will be another draw, with ice cream and other dessert contributions from Sweet Jenny's, Lake Effect, Perry's and more.

The event is 6 to 9 p.m. at the zoo, 300 Parkside Ave. Tickets $40 presale (995-6131), $50 door.
