Who?: Alt-pop singer/songwriter and Grand Island native now living in California.
What?: As evidenced by her latest album, "Connect the Dots," Clark is an eminently tuneful and deeply emotive singer/songwriter capable of crafting sophisticated, heartfelt modern pop. "Connect the Dots" was an Amazon.com "Best Records of 2011" pick. Available on iTunes, it also yielded Clark a top-selling "iTunes Single of the Week" for the song "White Lies," as well as a rotation slot on MTV for her "Sign" video.
What's next?: Clark comes home to open for Eddie Money at 6 p.m. today as part of the Labatt Canal Concert Series at the Ulrich City Center, Lockport. At 5 p.m. Wednesday, she'll perform with Buffalo's Son of the Sun as part of the newly launched Wednesdays at Larkin Square outdoor concert series. She'll be back to open for Roger Hodgson of Supertramp on Aug. 21 at Artpark.
