Coach: Chad Lyter, 2nd season
Outlook: OT Chris McCullough, a league all-star at OL, is the only returning three-year starter on the roster of 25. Lyter said he's expecting a lot from junior RB/LB Josh Harrington and senior RB/CB Thomas Ayers. The Gators have a strong junior class with Lucian Greco, who can play a variety of positions. Other juniors who will start are G/LB Dakota Woodgie, T/T Jordan Giardini and last year's JV QB Kyle Stover.

Outlook: Entire backfield and offensive line among the Cougars' nine returning starters. Junior RB Jordan Boughton is coming off a 10-TD season while senior RB Mike Lanphere had eight. Senior FB Charles Clutter led the team in rushing with 651 yards. QB Dylan Caldwell threw for five TDs. The returning O-line features Derek Wise, Brady Simpson, David Piscarik, Tom Wissman and Ben Torres. LB Tyler Johnson led the team in tackles last year with 64.

Outlook: Senior Josh Forster will play several positions, including RB. Junior QB Sam Agnew will build off the couple starts he got last year. Four seniors return to the O-line led by senior T/DT Jim Agnew (Sam's cousin). Miller said Jim Agnew's been a "weight room beast" since dislocating his elbow last season. He can bench 365. Other seniors on the line are: James Lenahan, Tyler Willibey and Zack Mowry. Senior DB Patrick McGlew has the most experience in the secondary. Junior LB Matt Booth is coming off a broken collarbone. The Timberwolves christen their new turf stadium against Cassadaga Valley.

Outlook: A trio of linemen return on both sides of the line for the Falcons. The veteran group includes senior Landon Williams, senior Tyler LaMonica and junior Dan Williamson. Junior QB Devon Cameron has shown good arm strength and running ability in camp. Senior RB Nate Sharp is back after missing most of last season with a torn ACL. Senior RB/LB Jesse Anderson and TE/LB Tyler Petersen will carry plenty of the load. John Klein, coming off foot surgery last year, has looked strong.

Outlook: The Warriors shouldn't have any trouble moving the chains as they return their two leading rushers and leading receiver. Senior TB/LB Ben Haas rushed for over 1,000 yards. Senior FB/LB William Hunt was second in rushing yards. Senior TE/LB Jackson John takes pride in his blocking and pass-catching abilities. Junior Tanner John, who started last year at safety, gets the call at QB. Senior RB/DB Jevon Battle is dangerous catching passes out of the backfield. Senior C/DE Stephen Ellis had an interception return for a TD last year vs. Wilson.

Outlook: The Trojans will build around senior Jake Swan, a returning All-WNY first-teamer at DB who also will play QB/WR and return punts/kickoffs. Other returning starters are junior T/LB Peter Trathen, senior LB Tyler Uber and senior DT Dan Austin. Chad Cooper can play any position on either side of the line. Senior Dan Petruccello is a talented RB/LB. Up from the JV are Ryan Schutte and Andy Greenley, both RB/LB. "We know we have the targets on our back. It's another year and these kids have to create their own identity," said Sirianni.

Outlook: Senior QB Trey North is a dual threat to run or throw. Senior LB Austin Alonge will lead the defense and also contribute at RB/WR. Senior WR Anthony Leone and LB Tyler Wright are three-year starters. Wright's brother, Cameron, will start at LB. Brent Morrison returns to Westfield from Chautauqua Lake and is one of the league's better punters. Approximately seven players from Brocton, led by Dan Ferguson and Cody Merrill, give the team needed size and depth.
