Thor befriends them and tries to get his powers back to save Asgard from evil snow giants.

This movie is a blast of fun and excitement. It's a mixture of comedy and action. Although it is more comedy than an action superhero movie, the film is entertaining. The action is cool, exciting and intense. But the action scenes early in the film just look like a blur.

Most of the movie is funny dialogue without a lot of action.

The visual effects in this film are breathtaking. The lighting and texture looks so real, you can't believe it's a computer-generated city. It is spectacular.

All of the characters in this movie are awesome. They are funny and interesting. Helmsworth does a wonderful job as Thor throughout the film. And, Hopkins can play any role and pull it off. He is awesome and a perfect casting choice as Odin.

If you plan on seeing "Thor," make sure you stay for the credits.

This is an entertaining movie for teens and adults.

Ryan Koller is a junior at Depew High School.
