Team (last year's Harvard Cup record). Division. Quick slant.
Riverside* (9-1). AA North. Frontiers are the last champion the Harvard Cup knew, and they get the matchups they've always wanted (NT and OP).
Burgard* (8-2). B Central. Bulldogs are one of city's top programs -- but they'll go up against two of WNY's strongest in Cheektowaga and Depew.
Lafayette* (4-5). A South. Mighty Violets have had big wins recently but numbers are a concern for school scheduled to close after this year (before reopening).
Bennett* (4-5). AA South. All High Stadium is Tigers' home field -- they'll need every edge playing in what is considered Section VI's toughest league.
McKinley (4-4). A North. Macks' .500 record the last two seasons considered down years for traditional power (Harvard Cup champions from 2005 to '07).
Grover Cleveland (3-5). C North. QB Chris Holland and Presidents (Harvard Cup finalists in '06, '08) poised to make noise as a small school in five-team division.
Hutch-Tech (3-5). AA North. Consistently strong Engineers had .500 record every previous year in the decade; won the Cup in '01 and lost it in '02 and '04.
South Park (3-5). B Central. Sparks have struggled since winning back-to-back Cups ('02-03) but have made recent strides under coach and alum Tim Delaney.
East (1-7). B Central. Program resurrected after 27-year absence in 2005, Panthers made playoffs that year but declined since. Lost to South Park last year, 26-22.
