Outlook: Senior RB Vinnie Bomasuto was a fourth team all-New York State pick last season. He had 820 yards rushing, scored 11 TDs and returned punts and kickoffs. Bomasuto is an all-around athlete having made All-WNY in baseball last spring. He is one of four starters back on both sides of the ball. Other impact players will be linemen Nick Tilly, Zack Jankowski and Kyle Utegg (60 tackles at LB).

Outlook: RB/S Cody Kelso, son of former Buffalo Bill Mark Kelso, returns to EA after three years at St. Mary's. Last year's Class B South champions return four starters on the O-Line anchored by OT/DT Jaycen Watts. Keegan Phalen is a nice target at SE. RB Evan Herton, a starter as a junior last year, will join Kelso in the backfield. QB Tom DeFilippio will run the Blue Devils spread wing T.

Outlook: Last year's Class C North champions return just four starters. QB/DB Kyle Zittel is back and will play alongside his brother Evan, a senior TE/LB. Protecting Kyle on the OL will be Tyler Shaw, Steve Bender and Ryan John. Starting both ways will be Derek Wilder (RB/DB), Calem Ebel (FB/LB) and (FB/DE) Luke Pasnik (FB/DE). JVs were 7-1.

Outlook: RB John Brown, Chris Welch and Keith Taggart will share the carries at RB. Welch moved to Lackawanna from the NYC area. Linemen Mike Schiavi and Matt Militello did the local lineman camps and powerlifting tournaments. QB/S Christian Smith, who started the last half of the season, will target WR Christian Cheatom, Shayne Daley and Shaquille Brooks.

Outlook: The feature back will be RB/DB Maleke Fuentes, the younger brother of Julio, who was All-WNY at utility in 2004. Look for the Huskies to run the ball more as they finally have some size with LT/DE Will Wetherby, LG/DE Everett Parks, C/DT Ryan Baer and RT/DE Roger Wangelin. The backfield of Fuentes, Jake Baer and FB Marcus Dwaileebe should have some nice holes.

Coach: Jim Duprey, ninth season
Outlook: RB Bill Asquith and QB Scott Fisher are among nine starters back on offense. Asquith is coming off 802 yards rushing and eight TDs. The Panthers also return their second-leading rusher in Jared Benkelman (415 yards) and leading receiver Tony Lock (232 yards). The leader of the secondary is DB Brandon Schwan, who had five interceptions last season.

Coach: John Sopko, first season
Outlook: The Griffins look to rebuild around a solid junior class that includes linemen Jason Forshee, Mike Reding and Matt Beyer. Other juniors who will get plenty of snaps will be FB Nate Wells and end Nolan Reimondo. The future of the program will look to sophomore Derek Benz and freshman Chris Phinney, both running backs. Sopko last coached the Griffins in the 90s.
