“The Box’ is delivered with slight damage

If you want a cerebral escapade that is mind boggling up until the final credits, then look no further. Set in the 1970s, “The Box” focuses on a couple that receives a mysterious package. In the package is a unique, handcrafted, wooden box with a built-in button. Their lives are interrupted by a mysterious man who claims to be the one who left the box. He tells them that when the button is pushed, they will receive $1 million. However, someone they don’t know will die. (And we thought the anthrax scare was bad.) As the morals of the family are tested, they are instantly flung into a game that is more real than either could have possibly imagined.
