Bills re-sign LB DiGiorgio
The Buffalo Bills re-signed linebacker John DiGiorgio, who appeared in six games during the 2008 season before being placed on injured reserve, the team announced today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
DiGiorgio, who backed up Paul Posluszny, finished with six special teams tackles. He tore a ligament in his knee and had surgery last October. He was hurt blocking on a punt return, and was placed on injured reserve.
He is entering his fourth NFL season since being signed by the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2006.
Since then, DiGiorgio has recorded 137 tackles, 2 sacks and one interception.
