Drunken driving arrest follows speeding stop

MAYVILLE—A Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputy has charged a Mayville man with driving while intoxicated after stopping what the deputy said was a speeding vehicle.
Thomas D. Przepiora, 53, also was charged with speeding and refusing to take a breath test to determine his blood-alcohol content, sheriff’s officials said.
Przepiora, who was stopped at 2:18 a. m. Saturday on South Erie Street, was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
