Drug charges lodged after traffic stop

WILSON—A Wilson man pulled over for speeding on Lake Road late Wednesday was found to be under the influence of drugs, state police said.
Roy F. Warner, 51, of Riverview Drive, was arrested on felony charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation along with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said they found a metal pipe with suspected cocaine residue.
Warner was taken to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, pending a Dec. 3 court appearance.
