Loss placed at $7,600 in machine shop heist
NEWFANE—A burglar made off with $7,600 in hand tools and other items after breaking into the machine shop at Lakeview Orchards overnight Friday, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said Saturday.
The office of the Wilson-Burt Road business was ransacked and a computer with a 19-inch flat-screen monitor was stolen, along with chain saws, grease and impact guns and a floor jack.
