Bailey Ave. gas station again targeted by thieves

Story tools:

A Bailey Avenue gas station that was held up in August was robbed again late Friday.

An attendant at the Mobil Mart, 3444 Bailey near Winspear Avenue, told Buffalo police that a man wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a mask and white gloves displayed what appeared to be a gun inside a brown paper bag. The bandit then demanded that the clerk hand over the register drawer and all of its contents and fled with $381, police said.

The same store was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes on Aug. 30. And in 1990, a gunman locked an attendant and the owner of the station inside a walk-in cooler before taking off with more than $15,000.
