Damage put at $200,000 in 2-alarm warehouse fire

A Buffalo firefighter suffered minor injuries after battling a two-alarm fire at 290 Larkin St. early Saturday afternoon.

The blaze caused $150,000 damage to the seven-story warehouse and $50,000 to the contents of the building. The blaze started on the roof after a tar kettle tipped over about 1:30 p. m., fire officials said. The identity of the firefighter was not released.
