Falls man faces prison after plea on drug sale
LOCKPORT—John M. Davis, 27, of Niagara Avenue, Niagara Falls, faces up to 2 1/2 years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to selling cocaine to undercover police.
Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza scheduled sentencing Jan. 7 for Davis, who admitted to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Davis sold nearly one-quarter of an ounce of cocaine in Niagara Falls on Feb. 17 and March 26. He must repay the $700 he was paid by the undercover officer, Sperrazza said.
