LOCKPORT—A Green Street man pleaded not guilty this week in Niagara County Court to charges of stealing six handguns in a June 11 Town of Lockport burglary. One of the guns may have been used in a shooting in the City of Lockport, Assistant District Attorney Brian D. Seaman said.
Terrance M. Castanon, 19, is charged with second-degree burglary, third-and fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal sale of a firearm and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Judge Matthew J. Murphy III set bail at $25,000.
The burglary allegedly occurred at a home on Northview Drive. Seaman said five of the six guns have not been recovered.
