Two arrested in accident at scene of earlier crash

BATAVIA—Two Attica men were arrested early Monday in an accident at the scene where Genesee County sheriff’s deputies were investigating another vehicle accident on Route 98 in the Town of Alexander.

Patrick L. Gugliuzza, 30, and Brandon J. Eck, 29, were charged with misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance and a hypodermic needle and possession of marijuana. They were issued appearance tickets.

Deputies said Gugliuzza drove into another vehicle that had slowed at the earlier accident scene. There were no injuries in either accident.
