Detectives investigate homicide on Lisbon Avenue

A young man was fatally stabbed early Saturday morning when a fight broke out at a party at a house on Lisbon Avenue, Buffalo police said.
The victim, who was stabbed several times, is believed to be a 19-year-old white male. He died a short time after the incident. The stabbing occurred at approximately 4:30 a. m. at a home in the 100 block of Lisbon Avenue. Detectives believe some type of fight or dispute broke out as people were leaving a large house party.
The victim’s name is not being released pending notification of family.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate the homicide and ask anyone with information to call the confidential tip line at 847-2255.
