Headlight infractions lead to DWI arrests of 2 drivers

Story tools:

State police report that headlight violations led to drunken driving arrests for two motorists in separate incidents early Sunday.

Bradley W. Mueller, 39, of Sardinia, was stopped for having a headlight out on Route 16 in the Town of Sardinia shortly after midnight. Troopers said he registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.11 percent when he was tested at the Holland State Police station. He was ticketed for DWI.

Troopers pulled over Maria L. Macpeek, 42, of Lancaster, on Gunnville Road, Town of Lancaster, for failure to keep right and failing to dim her high-beam headlights. A blood-alcohol test at the Clarence State Police station revealed she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.18 percent, troopers said. She was ticketed for aggravated DWI.
