Buffalo woman hurt in Chautauqua accident

CHAUTAUQUA—A 75-year-old Buffalo woman was injured about 9:30 a. m. Saturday when her vehicle crashed on Route 394 near the Chautauqua Institute.

The woman’s vehicle left the the road, traveled 150 feet into a ditch and struck a utility pole, according to Chautauqua County sheriff’s officials.

The woman, of Hollywood Avenue in Buffalo, had to be freed from the vehicle by Chautauqua fire personnel and was taken by Starflight helicopter to Erie County Medical Center.

Her name and condition were unavailable Saturday night.
