Six arrested, one sought in criminal mischief case
BATAVIA—Six people have been arrested following a three-week investigation into criminal mischief at a rental property in the Town of Byron, according to state police.
Charged with a felony count of criminal mischief were: Nicholas J. Adkins, 18, of Byron; Timothy A. Andrews, 19, of Bergen; Nathaniel L. Beglinger, 18, of Byron; Alyson T. Binder, 17, of Batavia; Adam J. Drexler, 19, of Webster; and Elan B. Pire, 20, of Byron.
The charges stem from approximately $3,500 damage caused at a property on Cockram Road, troopers said.
A seventh suspect has been identified and is sought on an arrest warrant, troopers said.
The six already charged are to appear Monday in Byron Town Court. Troopers said four of them were released on appearance tickets, while the two others are in Genesee County Jail on unrelated charges; troopers didn’t specify the status of individuals.
