Four-year prison term awaits cocaine dealer
LOCKPORT—A Lincoln Avenue drug dealer was handed a four-year prison sentence Wednesday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.
Markus M. Thomas, 23, had pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling more than half a gram of cocaine to an undercover police officer July 24 in the Town of Lockport.
In another drug case Wednesday, Lee D. Smith III, 19, of Hess Road, Newfane, pleaded guilty to attempted fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling some oxycodone to a police officer in Lockport Jan. 8. Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza scheduled sentencing for Sept. 2.
