Driver, 17, charged in rear-end crash
WHEATFIELD—A 17-year-old girl was charged with following too closely after she rear-ended another vehicle Monday afternoon, state police said.
The other driver was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, complaining of neck injuries, troopers said.
The crash occurred at 2:07 p. m. on Saunders Settlement Road, at Walmore Road.
Tujuana Tisdale, 46, of Lewiston, was taken to ECMC as a precaution because she was lapsing in and out of consciousness.
The driver charged, Michelle Massard, of Niagara Falls, was third in line driving a Sunfire behind a Cadillac Seville being driven by Tisdale and didn’t stop when a westbound car in front of her turned and blocked her view of the Cadillac still in front of her, troopers said.
