WARSAW—Sixteen people were arrested Wednesday on a variety of drug charges stemming from a six-month investigation into trafficking of cocaine, morphine, marijuana and prescription drugs throughout Wyoming County.

The suspects ranged in age from 16 to 35 and lived in Wyoming, Genesee, Monroe, Livingston and other counties. Fourteen suspects were charged with felony criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. Two others face charges of criminal possession of marijuana as well as unlawful growing of marijuana, police said.

In all, 30 officers from the Wyoming County Drug Task Force participated in the roundup, which was dubbed “Operation Spring Clean Up.”
