SILVER CREEK—A Collins woman has been charged with drunken driving following a two-car crash that sent three women to the hospital about 3 p. m. Wednesday on Routes 5 and 20 near Beebe Road in the Town of Hanover.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies said Inez Jimerson, 64, pulled out of a bar’s parking lot and turned left into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by Alice Reed, 65, of Dunkirk.
Jimerson was treated and released from Lakeshore Community Hospital, Irving. Her passenger, Loreen Spruce, 48, of Irving, was listed in stable condition Thursday in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Reed was listed in fair condition in ECMC.
Jimerson was charged with driving while intoxicated, vehicular assault, aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to yield the right of way and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
