Deputies charge 2 women involved in disturbance

Erie County sheriff’s deputies arrested two women Thursday after they were called to a disturbance at a home on Route 438 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. Deputies Jeff Hicks and Pat McMahon stopped the women as they attempted to drive away.

Lindsay Williams, 18, of Versailles, was found to have an outstanding warrant against her and was turned over to Cattaraugus County authorities.

Lisa Jones, 41, of Versailles, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest after she allegedly started fighting with the officers. She was taken to the Erie County Holding Center.
