Two-car crash in Hartland sends three to hospitals

HARTLAND—Three people ended up in hospitals Saturday evening following a two-car crash on Carmen and Seaman roads in the Town of Hartland, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies report.

An injured woman was flown by Mercy Flight helicopter to Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Medina Ambulance transported an injured man to ECMC as well. Another male victim was taken by Tri-Town Ambulance to Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Deputies withheld their names. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The accident occurred at about 7 p. m. as one car tried to make a left turn in front of the other. One of the drivers was charged with failure to yield.
