Woman injured, ticketed in two-car Kiantone crash

KIANTONE—A Lakewood woman was taken to WCA Hospital, Jamestown, midday Tuesday after she was involved in a two-car crash on Foote Avenue Extension, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
At 12:15 p. m., Teresa M. Wright, 41, was southbound on Foote when she rear-ended a car that was stopped in front of her while waiting to make a left turn.
Wright was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The other driver suffered minor injuries. Wright was issued two traffic tickets for following too closely and having an expired registration. She is to appear in the Town of Kiantone Court at a later date.
