Weekend crash results in two DWI charges

Story tools:

A two-vehicle crash in Cheektowaga over the weekend has left a Buffalo man charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and felony DWI, Cheektowaga police said Monday.

The collision occurred at about 12:25 p. m. Sunday at Broadway and the Harlem access road. After driver Daniel Fabian, 47, of Dempster Street, showed signs of intoxication, he was given a blood-alcohol test that registered a 0.21 percent level, according to police reports.

Officer Scott Scharlau also charged Fabian with felony DWI, because of DWI convictions in 2003 and 2004.
