Story tools:

A 25-year-old Lackawanna woman has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after being accused of recording a 0.27 percent blood-alcohol level following her arrest over the weekend, Lackawanna police reported Monday.

Jennie L. France, of Ridgewood Circle, was stopped at about 4 a. m. Sunday for crossing the double yellow line on Ridge Road, according to police reports. Officers also said they found an open bottle of Budweiser Light beer in her vehicle’s cup holder.

Officers Matt Gorczyca and Robert Cintron charged France with aggravated DWI, crossing the double yellow line and having an open container.
