Branch of KeyBank robbed in Williamsville
Amherst police are looking for a bank robber who displayed a handgun in a holdup at the KeyBank branch at 5200 Main St. in Williamsville on Friday morning.
Police said an undetermined amount of money was taken in the 9:08 a. m. robbery.
The robber, who did not display a weapon, was described as a black male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing a tan jacket, black pants, a black hat, black bandanna and sunglasses.
Witnesses told police they believed the robber fled in a gray or silver four-door car, possibly a Mazda, with a CB antenna. It drove onto Park Club Lane and then onto Main Street.
No one was injured in the holdup.
