Niagara Falls police on Wednesday released the names and photos of two men wanted for questioning in connection with the fatal shooting of a man who was sitting on a porch of a Ferry Avenue home early Saturday morning.

Police identified the wanted men as Phillip A. Holloway, 21, of Texas, with no known address in Western New York, and Darrius Molson, 26, of Garden Village apartments in Cheektowaga. Molson is known to frequent the area around 19th Street and Walnut Avenue.

Shortly before 3 a. m. Saturday, Deion J. Wood, 27, was sitting on the porch of a Ferry Avenue home with a woman when police said two men, one armed with a handgun, emerged from behind the house and fired several times.

Wood was struck as many as six times. The woman was unharmed. Wood was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he died of his wounds.

After the shooting, police said the attackers knocked on the door of a 20th Street home before jumping into a dark-colored, four-door sedan and fleeing.

Anyone with information about the two men or the shooting is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 286-4553 or 286-4711.
