Collision injures four in Wyoming County

WARSAW—Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in the Wyoming County community of Covington, state police in Warsaw reported Wednesday.

Vehicles driven by Esequiel H. Olan, 32, of Arkport, and Eric Maggio, 49, of Leicester, collided on Route 63, police said.

Two passengers in Olan’s vehicle, Maria Ortiz, 24, and Imelda Ruiz-Gomez, 27, both of Arkport, were taken by ambulance to Dansville Hospital with reported chest pain.

Maggio was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with head and chest injuries.

A passenger in Maggio’s car, Doris Bogner, 78, of Leicester, was taken to Strong Memorial by ambulance with chest pain. Neither Olan nor a child in his vehicle was injured.
