Police probe report of theft by EMT
HARTLAND—Niagara County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a complaint that an emergency medical technician arrested May 6 on a charge that he stole money from an accident victim also stole $55 from the purse of an Olcott woman being treated after a car crash just before 10 p. m. Monday on Ridge Road.
Deputies said the 53-year-old victim was in an accident involving a drunken driver. The woman contacted police Friday.
