Police search for tractor stolen from vineyard

WESTFIELD—A large vineyard farm tractor was stolen from a Westfield property Tuesday and last seen traveling west on Route 5 a short distance away, Chautauqua County sheriff’s officials reported.

The green tractor was equipped with a 300-gallon, light-green-colored sprayer with black straps. It was taken from the area of Route 5 and McKinley Road in Westfield sometime between 4 and 7:30 p. m.

The tractor was towing the sprayer and last seen traveling west in Barcelona.

Anyone with information is asked to contact sheriff’s officials at 753-4915.
